The magazine „technik report“ honoured the most innovative products in the categories drives & motion, sensors and control technology at this year’s Smart Automation fair in Linz. KML won the prize in the category drives & motion technology with its linear motor system LMS E². Due to the optionally available, absolute measuring system for all frame sizes it offers more functionality.

KML crucially contributes to its customers’ process optimisation with this technology. The integrated, absolute measuring system offers a re-start without a time-consuming reference run after a downtime. Furthermore machine availability and productivity are increased at the most attractive price-performance ratio.

Moreover the linear motor system LMS E² is also available in a version with a base plate that guarantees higher flexibility especially for cross tables and gantry systems. LMS E² is predestined for highly dynamic movements of small to medium loads with highest possible repeatability and a price level of conventional axis systems.
