BALLSCREWS

Ballscrews are mechanical components for the conversion of rotating motion to longitudinal movements and vice versa.
This conversion is made possible by rolling balls, which are arranged in precision grooves between a screwed shaft and nut.
Owing to these characteristics ballscrews for all applications are essential, with which high speeds, accuracies and reliability are requested over a long service life.

Heavy Loadable Ballscrews

The number of THOMSON - Heavy Loadable Ballscrews were developed particularly for the employment in plastic injection moulding machines for the drive of the injection heads and tool closing devices and has been extended recently by two sizes. Thus the THOMSON Heavy Loadable Ballscrews offer a comprehensive and well graded program with shaft diameter 32 mm up to 160 mm.
