In all ranges of modern mechanical engineering within which precision
and reliability are requested planetary gears are to be found as
drive components. Thomson MICRON - Planetary gears are available
for over 40 years as precision gears after a proven construction
principle at the market.
They unite quiet running, low-noise and low-vibration with long life
time compact design and minimum maintenance costs in one, two and
three speed versions. Thus they cover torque ranges from 19 Nm to
3,300 Nm. Thomson MICRON planetary gears are set up in many different
applications among other things also within ranges of the automation
industry, machine tools, packaging machines, handling systems etc.
Versions
A number of five versions available. NemaTRUE, DuraTRUE, AccuTRUE,
UltraTRUE and PowerTRUE straight-lined gear or as right angle gear.
Optonaly with hollow shaft or outgoing shafts on both sides ( series
DuraTRUE )
Accuracy
up to 4 angular minutes
Flange size
from 42 x 42 mm up to 220 x 220 mm
Transmittable torque
up to 3.300 Nm
Gear ratio
from 1 : 1 to 500 : 1
Radial load
up to 37,8 kN
Advantages
- optimal relationship between torque and size – enables
a compact Design from the ambient machine construction
- nearby backlash free gear tooth systems - prevents positioning
errors due to not effected courses of motion
- low inertia – keeps servo drives stable and easy to control
- high rigidity stabile and easily controllable - guarantees
optimal closed loop response
- high radial maximum loadability – pinions and belt pulley
can be mounted directly on the drive shaft.
